The poster of Studiolo of Plans is part of a poster series for the building’s Bulletin Board: forming the announcements introducing each section of The Palace of Typographic Masonry. Inevitably The Studiolo of Plans, and its grandiose utopian imaginations, exists only on paper. So it is that its visual representation is surrounded by the rulers representing the values of the typographic mason. Like other announcements, the poster is silkscreen printed in a set of three colours – red, blue and gold – which through overlap and transparency produces a vast array of mixed colours.
