The Supporter van Schoon campaign was designed by the agency Roorda in collaboration with Tabula Rasa. This awareness-raising campaign focuses on preventing litter in the Netherlands and responds to new legislation around disposable plastic. The design and visual communication are approachable, direct and focused on activating as many people as possible. The campaign’s style is colourful, simple and recognisable, with clear icons and slogans that are accessible to a wide audience, including people who have little to do with design or art. Economic capital is limited because it is a social initiative, and artistic autonomy is secondary to the campaign’s functional and activist message.
